We wanted our lifestyle to be morally and sociably acceptable, to the point where its simply just another lifestyle choice that people can make. But to do this, we needed a safe, clean and well-managed environment where swingers can be themselves., where they can express their desires and live their fantasy without fear of judgment. None of the existing clubs met our exacting standards, so we decided to start from scratch.....and so Club Poizon was born!

A chapel to seat up to 280 people with a draped bridal arch, red carpets and a lovely garden view.
Hunters-Rock Lodge offers excellent hunting, catering for rifle and bow hunters with a wide variety of plainsgame and very luxurious accommodation with thatched chalets, a swimming pool, bar, lounge with DSTV, kiosk and conference facilities. The bushveld is in very good condition and the lodge is build around a rock "koppie" (hill) blending in with the natural surroundings. Trophy quality are exceptional and the following species can be hunted
ACCOMMODATION Accommodation is in individual air-conditioned lodges each with its own under cover parking, direct dial telephone, M-Net, DSTV, work desk, en-suite bath & shower facilities, & extra-length bed for maximum comfort. Lodges are arranged in circles with the verandas facing into an enclosed garden free from traffic and the view of over activities taking place at the venue. BREAKFAST Our comfortable and friendly breakfast room is conveniently situated in the main reception building where a full breakfast menu is available. RECEPTION We maintain a 24 hour reception service for your convenience where faxing and copying facilities are available.
Southernwood offers close proximity to the various coastal fishing villages dotted around Cape Town, such as Hout Bay, Kalk Bay and Simonstown and the famous Cape beaches as well as merely fifteen minutes into the heart of trendy downtown Cape Town, resplendant with its famous cableway and harbour setting, with Victoria & Alfred Waterfront Shopping Quays. On our doorstep are wonderful mountain hikes up the back of Table Mountain, forest walks and the peace and quiet of a rural atmosphere.
Our Guest House consist of sixteen tastefully decorated rooms with satellite television, coffee and tea facilities, secure under cover parking, a private lounge, restaurant, bar, swimming pool and barbeque area. For the business people we are wifi enabled and have desk facilities in the rooms as well as conference facilities for up to 30 people. Our affordable rates include a traditional English breakfast in the restaurant, on the patio or by the pool side.

Although the Centre celebrated its tenth anniversary on 17 November 2000, the roots of the Centre can be traced back to 1890! Although the Centre previously hosted a number of other sporting codes, such as chess, rowing, triathlon and cycling, athletics, and in particular road running and walking, is the dominant sporting code. The clubhouse is a facility admired and appreciated by all members. It provides a spacious hall, fully licensed bar, kitchen and cloak rooms with showers for both sexes. A club secretary serves the needs of members from Monday to Thursday from 17:00 - 19:00. Facilities are available for rent to the public for workshops, meetings and functions.
The guest house is ideally situated within walking distance of Newlands rugby and cricket grounds. A 10 to15 minute drive to either the airport or the centre of Cape Town and waterfront, and just further 10 minutes to the beautiful beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton. For the keen golfer there are several golf courses with 5km of Brooklands House. Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens is only ten minutes drive and both Newlands Rugby and Newlands Cricket grounds are within 20 minutes walk. Brooklands House now also has a 12 seated conference room inclusive morning and afternoon tea, light lunch and flip chart at R 285.00 per delegate ( min R 1500.00 per day ).
